The Icelandic Web Awards deadline approaches

Get your entry in before this Monday, January 21st.

Awards will be given for eleven categories, including the Most Creative Website, Best Interface and Overall Design and the Best Icelandic Website. We are proud winners of three categories last year and definitely recommend it. Winning is a really nice feeling.

The ceremony itself will be a grand affair, held during UT messan ("IT Mass") at Harpa Conference Centre.

Not to be missed: IT fair and ambitious conference

UT messan will be filled with interesting and fun happenings, talks, competitions, booths and displays. In addition to this fair will be a 8 track conference on Friday, and awards ceremonies for both the IT awards and the Icelandic web awards. The president will be there, how about you?

The event will take place Friday February 8th and Saturday February 9th. Friday is intended as more of an industry event, whereas Saturday is open to the public.

The purpose is to attract more people to work in the tech industry so we implore you to bring your students, younger relatives and unemployed friends to come and see all the options in the IT field. Don't forget to visit Hugsmiðjan's booth!
